Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and AREN AI LABS LLC for the Wander walking travel-guide app, on the web and on iOS and Android.

Please read section 8 (Walking safely). Wander sends you walking around real cities, with real traffic and real hazards. You are responsible for your own safety at all times.
1. Who we are
Wander is operated by AREN AI LABS LLC ("Wander", "we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in Illinois, United States, at 451 W Huron St, Unit 907, Chicago, IL 60654. You can reach us at admin@arenailabs.com.
2. Accepting these terms
By using Wander you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. You must be at least 13 years old to use Wander, and at least 16 if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you use Wander on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.
3. What Wander is
Wander is a guide to walking routes in cities: curated walks, points of interest, written descriptions, audio narration, and maps. We offer:
- Free — browse every city and every walk, and follow one flagship walk per city in full.
- Premium — a paid subscription unlocking all walks in all cities, with audio narration and walk-along.
We may change what's included in each tier, add or remove cities and walks, and change or discontinue features. If we make a change that materially reduces what you've paid for, you may cancel and request a pro-rata refund (section 6).
4. Your account
You need an account for Premium and to sync across devices. Keep your password secure and don't share your account. Tell us promptly at admin@arenailabs.com if you believe someone else is using it. You may delete your account at any time — see Delete your account.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Premium is a recurring subscription. When you subscribe:
- You'll be charged the price shown at checkout, plus any applicable taxes.
- It renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- Payments on the web are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- If we change the price, we'll tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel before renewing.
6. Cancelling and refunds
Cancelling
You can cancel any time. If you subscribed on the web, open Your account → Manage subscription to cancel through Stripe. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for. Deleting your account cancels web billing immediately.
Consumers in the EU, UK and other jurisdictions with a withdrawal right
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Because Premium unlocks immediately, by subscribing you ask us to begin the service at once and acknowledge that you lose that 14-day right once the service has been fully performed. Where the law still gives you a partial right, we'll honour it.
Our refund practice
Beyond rights you have by law, if something goes wrong — you were charged in error, charged after cancelling, or the app didn't work for you — email admin@arenailabs.com within 30 days of the charge and we'll review it and refund where fair. We generally don't refund a period you've used, but we'd rather resolve a complaint than keep a payment you're unhappy about.
7. Purchases through the App Store or Google Play
If you subscribe inside our iOS or Android app, the purchase is made through Apple or Google and is also subject to their terms. In that case:
- You must cancel through Apple or Google — we can't cancel a store subscription for you, and deleting your Wander account will not stop it.
- Refunds are handled under their policies, not ours.
8. Walking safely — please read
You are responsible for your own safety. Wander suggests routes; it does not supervise your journey and cannot see what's in front of you.
- Watch the road, not the screen. Don't use the app while crossing roads or in traffic. Stop somewhere safe to read or listen.
- Routes are drawn from map data and may be inaccurate, out of date, blocked, closed, under construction, or unsuitable for your mobility needs.
- We don't assess whether an area is safe, or safe at a given time of day. Use your own judgement and follow local advice, laws and signage.
- Consider weather, daylight, terrain, your own fitness and health, and travel advisories before setting out.
- Wander is not for navigation in an emergency. Call local emergency services.
9. Accuracy of our content
Wander's descriptions are researched and written with care, and are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by us. Even so, they may contain errors, and details like opening hours, ticket prices, closures and access change constantly. Treat the content as background reading, not as verified fact — check anything you're relying on. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors via MapTiler and carries its own inaccuracies.
10. Acceptable use
Don't: break the law with Wander; copy, scrape, redistribute or resell our content or audio; reverse-engineer the app except where the law says you may; try to get around payment or access controls; attack, overload or probe our systems; upload unlawful, hateful or abusive material through feedback; or use Wander to build a competing dataset or product.
11. Intellectual property
The Wander app, our written route content, narration audio, design and branding are owned by AREN AI LABS LLC and protected by copyright. Your subscription buys you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them in the app — it doesn't transfer ownership or let you republish them. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, used under the Open Database Licence. Place names, trademarks and landmarks belong to their respective owners.
12. Feedback you send us
If you send feedback through the app, you give us permission to use it to operate and improve Wander. Please don't include personal or confidential information in it.
13. Availability
We aim to keep Wander running but don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend it for maintenance, or to protect users or our systems. Offline features depend on what you've downloaded before losing connectivity.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Wander and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we're required to by law. If we close your account without cause while you have paid time remaining, we'll refund the unused portion.
15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, Wander is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers, in which case they don't apply to you and you keep the rights your local law gives you.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, AREN AI LABS LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Wander is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for consumer rights that your local law says cannot be excluded.
17. Indemnity
If your misuse of Wander or breach of these terms causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages we incur from it.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be handled by the courts located there.
If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in your local courts. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll give reasonable notice — by email or in the app — before it takes effect. Continuing to use Wander after that means you accept the new terms; if you don't, cancel and stop using the app.
