Delete your Wander account
Wander is a walking travel-guide app. You can permanently delete your account and its personal data at any time — here's how, and exactly what happens.
Delete from inside the app
- Open Wander (web, iOS, or Android) and make sure you're signed in.
- Tap your email address in the top bar to open Your account.
- Choose Delete my account, then confirm with Delete permanently.
This cannot be undone. Deleting your account immediately cancels any active Wander Premium subscription, and you will lose premium access and saved progress. There is no grace period and no recovery.
Can't sign in?
If you've lost access to your account, email us from the address you signed up with and we'll delete it for you. We'll confirm once it's done.

What is deleted, and what is kept

| Your account & sign-in credentials | Deleted immediately. |
| Your profile (subscription tier, display name) | Deleted immediately. |
| Your payment details & billing profile | Deleted immediately at our payment provider (Stripe); any active subscription is cancelled. |
| Feedback you submitted in the app | Anonymised — the link to you is permanently removed, and the remaining text is no longer associated with any person. |
| Payment & invoice records | Retained by our payment provider only as long as tax and accounting law requires. These cannot be deleted on request. |
| Downloaded maps, audio and settings on your device | Removed when you sign out or uninstall the app. |
Subscriptions bought on iOS or Android
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, deleting your Wander account does not automatically cancel that store subscription — Apple and Google only allow you to cancel it yourself. Cancel it in your device's subscription settings before deleting your account.
